Debbie started her professional real estate career in south Florida in 1982.  In 1984 after moving to the Tyrone Georgia area, Debbie affiliated with ERA Mirium Fulton Realty, which became Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty.  In December of 2007, Coldwell Banker Fulton Realty merged with Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty to form one of the Southern Crescent's largest and most successful Real Estate Companies.

Debbie has been very active in the Fayette County area.  She completed Leadership Fayette in 1986, was named Tyrone's Citizen of the Year in 1987, chaired the Tyrone Industrial Development Authority in 1990 and 1991, served on the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Organization of Fayette County in 1990 and 1991 and continues to be very active on numerous Committees within the area.  She is currently a member of the Peachtree City CERT Team. (Civilian Emergency Response Team).

Active in the Fayette County Board of Realtors she was VP of Professional Affairs, and has chaired the Professional Standards, Grievance, Million Dollar Club Committees as well as serve on Administration and Operations and the Board of Directors to this day.  She has been a member of the Fayette County Million Dollar Club for the past 19 years and won numerous awards from Coldwell Banker.

As a charter member of the Rotary Club of Tyrone, she twice chaired the Community Service Committee, served as Treasurer and on the Clubs Board of Directors.

Debbie, who is divorced, currently resides on an 18 acre Ranch in Tyrone with 3 horses and 2 dogs.  This ranch is a licensed "Horse Hotel" for people needing a place to stay while traveling with horses.  She is also setting up a 30 acre horse camp adjacent to Roosevelt State Park in Pine Mountain, Georgia
