Who is Robbin Smith

Thanks for asking! I am a full time REALTOR® and Property Manager who currently resides in an “intown” neighborhood in Atlanta, GA. A native of Chicago, IL, I came to Atlanta in the 80’s to pursue degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry at Spelman College. I am the proud aunt of four nephews and two nieces. A former athlete (volleyball, basketball, & track and field) and dancer (jazz, modern, hip-hop, and tap), I enjoy music, sports, theater, travel, food and all things REAL ESTATE! Prior to becoming an agent, some my previous employers were Ticketmaster ™, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, ASSURANT GROUP (ASG), AIG, INVESCO, and Merrill Lynch.

My love for people and community drives me to participate in various activities that involve mentoring youth and young adults, feeding the homeless, clothing drives, neighborhood cleanups, homebuilding, and fundraising. Many of my clients have donated and become active in community activities as well.

As a REALTOR® I have worked a variety of transactions. My experience as a property manager and investor has allowed me to work with other investors and tenants too. As expected some of my tenants have gone on to become buyers themselves. I have worked with relocation buyers, 1st time buyers, experienced buyers and senior buyers. My favorite part of having a real estate business is selling residential homes! There is no greater feeling than helping a home seller transition, and allowing the new owner to enjoy the established home and community.

One of my goals for the future involves establishing an affordable housing initiative which would allow builder/investors and lower income families to unite to create culturally and financially diverse neighborhoods. The second is to have a weekly radio or televised real estate program that would feature real estate professionals, lenders, inspectors, and attorneys answering questions and also presenting features on current home trends, fabulous homes, and the “best of” various parts of town, with me being the host, of course.
